013 \\ Should You Bring Your Kids to Work with You as a Chiropractor or Physical Therapist?
Deciding whether to bring your kids to work, especially in a practice setting, is one of those decisions that can weigh heavily on your mind as a parent and professional.
When I first started my journey, I looked up to other practitioners who seemed to have it all together—managing their busy practices with their children in tow, all while radiating grace and composure.
It looked like the perfect setup, and I thought, “That’s what I want.”
But as I’ve gone through different seasons of motherhood and practice, I’ve learned that what works for one family might not work for another.
Each child is unique, and every stage of life brings new challenges and considerations.
Over the years, I’ve had my kids with me in the practice during some seasons and opted to keep them separate in others.
This decision isn’t always easy, and it’s something I revisit regularly, especially now as I prepare for the arrival of my third baby.
In this episode, I’m sharing the questions I’m asking myself to help guide this choice.
Whether you’re facing this decision now or might be in the future, I hope my experience and these reflections offer some clarity.
